Reading, writing & no arithmetic
I sat here and stared at this blank page for a good half hour trying to decide what to write for the first post on this new blog. I am no stranger to blogging. Started out at Blogger a few years ago, then made the move to mighty WP. I also had a poetry blog here for about a year but the pressure of having to post poems on a schedule wore on my nerves, created writer’s block so we gently laid that blog to rest.
Facebook is also a thing of the past. While I try to pop over there and visit (every blue moon) cyber friends, the daily hum-drum of posting videos, where I went for noon time lunch and such also grew tedious. Now here we are at my new home, free penny press. I have no set rules on what this blog will be about, no theme, just a place where whatever is interesting that day I will drop on the page and hope the community finds to be a good read.
As a writer I may regale you with a story from my past, something cool I find on the web or just some visual art. I love sharing good things I find, so don’t be surprised if you see your blog linked up here for others to read.
I hope you (or at least one person) tags along for the ride because I’ve been told I’m a cool chick and all round good sport.
So on that note, off to ponder the next post, read some blogs and get another cup of java.
