Sideways shots from a Saturday
It’s been an odd past few days. I think there is some new vibe floating around that makes people all loco-like. I personally have felt off, like when you are walking with a side-ways slant. Now I’m happy, just something is off. So to counteract that walking to the left mode I took a field trip to different parts of my town today. Nothing glamorous or anything. Just out there.
Here are some not too interesting shots I took (compliments of Instagram):
This place looked sad & lonely. All wrapped up and ignored:
A Mother & Child reunion:
The dog was incognito:
A pink guitar that I really should have bought:
Mini-trucks on their way to some place cool:
I wasted too much money trying to win a $1 toy:
I settled for a rub-on tattoo:
American made:
My road dog (literally), Jack-Black (with the underbite). Don’t tell him there is a bobby pin in his hair:
That’s all folks. Side-ways shots from my walk to the left Saturday.
Have a great weekend all you cyber-writers!!!

A most enjoyable post! And a great weekend to you too!!
Best wishes. Elliott (elliottingotham.wordpress.com)
Well it’s just a so-so post Elliott.. I’m heading to your part of town in a few. I have a couple posts to catch up on. Love your b log.
And I would also enjoy seeing your walk to the right when that one happens! I always love looking at the interesting in the not-so-interesting! Cute! And…we won’t mention the bobby pin!
Haha,.. Well I knew this was no award winning post, but I too like looking at the odd and quriky of people’s lives. thanks for the visit!!!
I love random photos especially of dogs named Jack Black..bobby pin and all!
Thank you ….i did cut that hair tonight so no more bobby-pin for the boy dog
Your dog has a unique smile to say the least!
Haha..his smile is hilarious looking.. all underbitey looking..
This was a very cute quirky post!
I hope that you feel better. Also, I hope that it is not too much to ask that you feel better by tomorrow; selfishly I await the “Po’”, though I won’t get to read it until late. Oddly, I have had several people tell me that they feel inexplicably “off” the last couple of days. Sun activity? Don’t know…
~ Lily
HIya–yes I feel great, the sun is all shiny today.. Ok for you I will post some Sunday night Po!!
Enjoy your day Lily!
I always blame strange vibes on the moon, regardless of what phase it’s in.
I like the first pic, I think you have captured the atmosphere of wrapped up and unused really well.
I think it’s the moon too!!
We think alike..the 1st one is my favorite too and the barbed wire, electric fence felt so final for these things..
Have a great day today over there in Gib!!
It’s raining (must be the moon) – but we don’t get much of it so I love the rain too. Just sorting some rainy day pix for a post
We have a long weekend here, so things are looking good.
Oh yeah.. a new post with pix.. Love your pix!! and I too love the rain. It rained all night and I slept like a baby!!
Thanks L. Was going to leave it while tomorrow, to post, as know people have busy lives and can’t keep up to multiple blog owners. The sound of the rain on the window was wonderful.
Lovely random photos especially the dog! Happy weekend…
Ah my doggie is really a little man wrapped in fur
Enjoy your day!
Thanks and enjoy your day too!
Hmmm maybe it is because of the weather? It is rather cold up here in MI and no one is too happy about it. Love all these pics… esp the mini colorful rainbow of trucks. I also greatly enjoy that doggie’s expression. A toothy smile for sure.
Have a woonnnnnderful wekend, dear blogger friend
A few people have told me the past few days have been odd….no worries I still smile through the oddness:-)
I would have loved to ride around in one of those mini-trucks..Ha!
Happy day to you too Sassie-Frass
What a nice slice of time you provided! You should have bought that pink guitar. Really, what a decoration that could have been…
I’m kicking myself for not buying that guitar..
thanks mucho for the visit today!!
I adore your dog. The bobby pin makes the man.
He is one spoiled dog for sure…I thought the bobby pin would allow him to see things better on out road trip yesterday.Ha!
Jack Black does show a slight resemblance to the actor with his name.
See, I said the same thing.. although when he’s in a sassy mood I call him “Jackson”..ha!
Feeling sideways obviously contributes to creativity. That first photo, which you say is nothing special, is quite thought evoking. You have captured “abandonment” and can obviously see art in the seemingly mundane.
Now that I look back at that picture, yes I too see abandonment. These objects were at one time useful, now they are relegated to life behind a cold wire, wrapped and forgotten.
Thank you so much for the visit!!
Looks like an interesting day (and I love your dog)!
Thank you..it was fun to get out and ride, Jack-Black & myself!!
Hey, Jack-Black’s a cutie
Thanks..he’s a good doggie too!
