Exits & Beginnings
Another year is coming to a close and we stand ready to welcome in 2013. Resolutions are being made as memories are stored in recesses of our minds.
For me, this past year has had amazing highs and some soul searing lows.
Through every event, moment and possibility I never lost sight that I am everything and anything.
May the new year be all you wish for which means it can be everything!!

I did a post on it a while back (too lazy to look it up..lol) but it’s a fabulous film!
here’s to a progressive 2013! may all your resolutions be resolved and your new year and new adventures be part of a glorious you. For me I make no resolutions but always always try to be a better man, husband and father – a better poet is always a good goal as well; but those goals are regardless of the particular day of the year it happens to be.

Yes indeed Jhon, a progressive 2013.. I like that.. I don’t do resolutions either but I do make wee notes in my head to be better than the year before in all ways. Let us both keep evolving and may our joys be many, stresses few and everything else simply marvelous!!!

Happy New Year Lynne… and here’s to opening new doors. I do a daily journal and one of my New Year’s activities is to reread my entries for the year. I do set goals for myself, even in retirement. I’ve always had a great deal of freedom and I need to provide some structure. I plan personally as well as professionally. I label my personal planning SPICE: Spirit, Play, Interpersonal, Community and Education.
Curt..I am going to start keeping a daily journal from here on out. I have journals (since age 13) but write in them sporadically..
I love your SPICE plan.. sounds like a great recipe for a wonderful way of life. All the best in 2013 and it’s been great having our paths cross here in WP land!!
Agree on the paths crossing Lynne. I am amazed at the friendships that can be created with blogs… but in many ways it is like inviting people into your homes and lives. I look forward to following your adventures this year.
I liked the video, and as one of your other commenters said, the music was perfect for it. I liked the poem too. Thought it was one of yours until I got to the credits.
I wonder if some years have highs and lows (you can’t have one without the other?) and others are more in the middle? For me this has been an in the middle one – which I have to say I prefer. I can do without the lows, even at the expense of the highs.

I think we have highs and lows because if it were all of one and not the either not sure how we as humans would fare. I roll with the bad times and somehow always land on my feet.

That movie is one of the most beautiful things captured on film.. You will not regret it (actually the people behind the film intrigue me more, made on a shoestring budget)
