Now that it’s a new year, what shall I do?

First picture I took on 1/1/2013..new earth
The new year has arrived and as with every year I don’t do resolutions. I do make mental notes of things hoping to accomplish and this one is no different. I won’t bore you with some mundane personal list of 1-10 things in my notebook but rather toss out a few pages from that book so I can refer back at future dates for reminders.
-I will write more on my novella. Life is not promised, so if my words don’t get on the page my family may miss out on learning more about me.
-I will stick to the photography project (365) I signed up for and learn from the seasoned people I encounter there.
-I will mediate each morning so my days can start with a clean mental slate to allow for creativity and greatness.
-I will love myself every second of each day for if I don’t love me, how can I expect anyone else to.
-I will be…….
If we collectively embrace and share our goodness, our world can heal it’s way back to health. It’s not my rule, that is the universe’s rule. So keep those positive thoughts flowing, toss anger, self-doubt, etc. into the rubbish bin and enjoy our brief moments in time.
Onward we go….

Perfect message for the new year!
Good morning and good new year
Unless I’m reading this incorrectly, it sounds like you’re going to continue to do what you are already doing, no? Nice to know that some folks don’t need a complete overhaul every 365 days
haha.. well I left out the boring things as they require me to dwell on them..lol
Happiest of the New Year to you!!!!
Stay on top of the last one you wrote.
It’s the most important!
That last one is the most important I do believe.. the unknown
Happy Wednesday EG!!
Onward… What another great word!
Good luck with the 365 photo project, I bet you’ll have a blast with that.
Happy 2013!
I’m really excited about the 365 project.. another blogger told me about it awhile back so yes indeed, onward we go!!!
I’m glad you included photography on that list. You really do have a good eye, Lynne. I think you should continue to pursue it.
I think your list rocks.
Like you, I’ve committed to writing something – I’ve started a screenplay using my post, “A Life in Bullet Points” as the storyline. I’m already 6 pages in!!! I’m going to aim for just a few pages a day and see where it takes me.
I’m also going to try and exercise at least 4 times a week. All of this stress has really derailed me. I’ve gotta get back on it.
You continue to inspire me to be my best self. Thanks, Lynne!
Oh Lisa that’s awesome on your writing. Really proud of you because I know now it’s still very stressful. The writing may prove to be very cathartic for you ..I’m excited about the 365 photography project.. already have met some good people and hope to learn so much more than I already do..I’m the novice so I’ll be a little sponge there. soaking up some photog tips.
You inspire me as well, always have
Loving yourself. That’s the hardest and most important one for me.
Oh boy, this is a toughie for me too but by golly this year I’m determined to beat this hurdle
onward we go together – upward too
Yes indeed onward, upward and maybe some fun, crazy sideways too
Thank you! What a great way to think of the new year! I love it!
Onward to this new year I say ( and you with your snazzy new laptop.. I’m jealous
P.S. Just checked out 365, love the idea and the motivation. I would love to follow you there but technically speaking I am all thumbs and I can’t figure it out. How do I do “follow” someone (ie YOU!:) )
Hita.. oh my I think the only way to follow is be part of the project..thanks for wanting to.. I’ll be bugging you guys with pics once a week here
Actually I did check it out and join as well, but I can’t figure out how to follow a person. Seems like you can only find someone by their pictures… Any tips on that?
Hi, awesome you joined. So many nice people there, I am there under @mizhayz..follow me and check out my people and start following/commenting you will have a crowd soon, let me know if you need help:-)
Thank you so much! Now let’s see if this techie-challenged gal can figure that out from here….
I saw this discussion @ 365 someone started..lots of good info for us new kids in town:

Thank you!!!
You are singing my song, Lynne. Loving your list and like you said, onwards to good, good things, good friends and all the juicy good stuff in store for 2013!!
Hi Brigitte.. Yes indeedy.. one\ward to all the sparkly things we all so richly deserve.. Let us make this year a really great one shall we?
Happy New Year!!
I like your goodness Lynne. You always have a good message
Audra, that’s one of the nicest things anyone has ever said to me..
*blushing*
it is true.. very true:)
I was dead good on the meditating in the morning at one point. Trouble was, I’d do ten minutes meditation (you can more or less guess the time) and ten mins relaxation afterwards and frequently ended dozing off again. Not good when I was going to work!
I’ve probably missed it but what sort of camera did you get in the end?
RSITM- I’m terrible with meditating but I hear so many positives from practicing it.. I’m good for about 5 minutes then my mind goes to wandering..
I have not bought a camera yest (in the next month or so) holidays & car repairs put that on hold but soon.. for now just me and my trusty iphone
I like the last one. “I will be. . .” is a good goal. I will be this year. Happy New Year to you and yours~
Happy New Year to you too Mary!!
May we all BE………..
I love the greenery – is that growing in your yard?!
beautiful sentiments and I fee the hope in your words. Yes, love is a powerful force.
Keep on loving, Lynne.
Sue, those are weeds in my yard
Yes, I’m going to love me more and that in turn will spill over to the world.
Onward we go my friend..
Show me some more color with your photos, will you? It’s all brown, grays and whites here and it’s gonna be months before we see grass or flowers again!
I adore your pig. And your list. I haven’t made mine yet. I think I shall include “procrastinate less.”
The pig is my doggies’ gift from Santa, Miss Zelda..he’s in love with her..lol
Ah, I too am a procrastinator..yes, less of that will be nice.
All good thoughts, Lynne.
Always Gregory.. always
Hope you keep up to your 365 Project … and your followers as well
.
Hiya.. I will do both.. People are kind enough to follow I shall be kind enough to keep up..I hope to learn some much needed photography skills and maybe one day I’ll take pictures as good as yours
Great goals to have for 2013!! And Iknow you will complete them all!!
Happy All Year to us!!
Going to do my best to see all of my years are worthy and good
