Quotes..those wise, witty, heartfelt words others say and we remember, share, wish we had of said. I have a file of quotes and refer back to them time and again..
For today’s Word Press Daily Prompt: Quote Me I selected two from my file. Though not sentimental, both are wise, truthful words..

I’m diggin the one from Tommy Lee Jones. We write quotes on our chalkboard wall all the time. I love this one from John Lennon: “Time you enjoyed wasting was not wasted”
Tommy Lee, no matter what flick he’s in always I find at least one witty line I like to memorize..
The Lennon quote is a great one too!! (going in my file)

Both great! I love the second one. There is something about Tommy Lee saying it that makes it even better.
I clearly remember him saying it in the movie because I read the book first and was on the listen out for it.. He’s awesomatic in my book!!

I like just about any quote for TLJ. He has such a unique delivery and way of making you believe he is whatever character they cast.
TLJ is super cool isn’t he.. One of the “hollywoood stars” I’d like to meet !!
That’s a good one from “No Country.” Can definitely see how it might be useful to throw out everyonce in awhile as we make our way through this mixed up world.
That quote is in my top 5.. It just makes sense..

Thanks … Oh my New Years Eve that had me working until 10:45 pm instead of the promised “you will be off by 8″.. Needless to say I never made it out but have rescheduled le date to next weekend so stay tuned.. and I will wear my new shoes too

Mrs Monkey and I are currently trawling through The West Wing Box Set. There are so many great lines included that when it’s over we’re going to do it all again with a notebook by our side.
eg. Visitor; ” You’re only being nice.”
Toby, ” I’m sure if you ask around you’ll find that’s probably not true.”
Toby, again to the President, in that flat dry sarcastic tone that he has.. ” Just for a minute there I forgot that you’re hilarious”.

haha.. I wasn’t there but I get it… I would love to have a wall in my home with nothing but great quotes posted all over.. Imagine the fun visitors will have reading them all.. Hmm, that sounds like a really good idea!!
